Kavya Madhavan refuses seven films
Kavya Madhavan says that she has refused seven films because she did not like the roles. She further adds that she is waiting for good roles in the re entry.
While speaking about this, she said,” There was strong news that I am donning a role of a witch lady in a Malayalam film. I am not doing the role of a witch lady. The hero is the black magician while I am donning the role of a police officer who apprehends him.
Apart from this film I got 7 offers after my marriage. I kept away from films because of my wrecked marriage. I was in a state of confusion whether to act or not. Now that I am separated and single I have decided to act.
Since this is my re-entry I am waiting for a good role. I also got an offer to act in a film which had four heroines. But I refused to do this role. There is no disparity for me between Tamil or Malayalam films. I will act in any language provided I get a good role.

ADHAVAN REVIEW
Aadhavan Movie Review
Aadhavan the most expected movie of this season is finally out with more expectation. The movie is likely to be the hat trick hit for Actor Suriya but there is a question rising on our minds that this movie would be the stop for Surya’s hit list???The movie story is all about a serial killer (Suriya) Gun Shooter who assigned to kill a magistrate (Murali) who yet to disclose the list of baddies involved in the illegal activities of transplanting the organs of poor children’s. Whether the serial killer accomplishes his task or whether he turns against the baddies forms the rest of the movie. Those who watched the Tamil movies often its easy to guess the remaining story as it script clearly evidenced in number of occasions in the Tamil cinemas previously.Actor Suriya with hits like “Vaaranam Aayiram” and “Ayan” looking to make an impact with B and C class audiences with Aadhavan but it fails in the end. Surya does his part well in the entire movie. Suriya is a director’s actor as whatever the situation compels for the movie he will do it perfect on screen. As a K.S.Ravikumar standards actor Suriya’s role can be said better than in this movie.Hot Sexy Actress Nayanthara is shown in a new manner and avoided showing her skin more to survive on the top list of Kollywood but the time to admire youth has gone to some other new actresses. Vadivelu comedy track is giving hand to the script. Late Malayalam actor Murali last encounter turns to a memorable outing for him.Music Composer Harris Jayaraj doesn’t give his best in Aadhavan as all the songs are repeatedly hear by Music lovers in his previous flicks. Actor Suriya costumes for songs shown his stylish looks but however tried to adopt similar dance steps in the entire songs. The movie is somewhat technically high but doesn’t help in for a lag script. However, Aadhavan has the common commercial elements but up to an extent. With new decision made by producer’s council the cine lovers are compelled to watch any movies on theatres but spending your valuable bucks it will hurt while watching. As the movie is hit on all the big screens it will heap collections and also continuous promos on TV’s it will be a strong contender for other Diwali movies.

BHAVANA $ AJITH
Two Songs with Ajith: Bhavana
Bhavana, who had an impressive debut in Kollywood in Mysskin’s Chithiram Pesudadi went on to do many films with leading heroes in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. She was last seen in Jayamkondan with Vinay after which there appears to have been a dry spell in her Kollywood career. This lull has been broken by her current prestigious venture Asal with Ultimate Star Ajith where she plays the leading lady along with Sameera Reddy. However there have been widespread theories that Bhavana is not the actual heroine in Asal and her role is not as meaty as Sameera’s. While clearing the air on this issue, this petite actress said, “People are even wondering how I accepted this role because they think that I am only the second heroine. But it is not so. There are two heroines in the film and I am one of them.” Bhavana further added that she has two duets with Ajith. This should certainly put to rest any ambiguity related to the heroine issue

SURESH GOPI ON POSTMAN
Suresh Gopi, from Cop to postman
Suresh Gopi’s name has become synonymous with the cop uniform. The actor has played the cop to perfection in so many films. But now he will be donning the khaki colours for a different uniform.
In his upcoming Oridathoru Postman, he will be playing the title role of a postman. Suresh Gopi has always been the epitome of action on screen, but with this movie, he changes tracks completely. This comedy caper is written by K. Girish Kumar and will be directed by Shaji Azeez. Shaji made his directorial debut with Shakespeare M.A. Malayalam, which he co-directed with Shaiju Anthikkad.
The movie also stars Kunchacko Boban and Kalabhavan Mani in the lead roles. Set against a village backdrop, the movie is also marks the re-entry of Ananya into Malayalam, who made her mark with the Tamil flick Naadodigal.

SWA LE REVIEW

SWA LE
Cinematographer turned director P.Sukumar’s Swantham Lekhakan or Staff Reporter is perhaps based on a decent premise. But with some definite prejudices underlying, lackluster performances from everyone involved and in the absence of even a half-baked script, it turns out to be a rather painful experience that treads along without any definite direction.
The focus of the story is its protagonist, Unni Madhavan (Dileep), a local reporter of an average selling daily, who is struggling hard to find enough time to focus on his job or to take care of his pregnant wife and in the end, mess things up on both fronts. His wife Vimala (Gopika) had married him without the consent of her parents and the couple has virtually no one to help them.
The news editor of Janachintha, where Unni is working, sends him to the house of eminent writer Palazhi Sivasankara Pillai (Nedumudi Venu), who is on his deathbed. During his childhood days, Unni was close to the writer and now, he and his group of fellow journalists are waiting at Palazhi’s house to report his death, the moment it happens.
The story of a reporter happening two decades back during those times when mobile phones, news channels and modern technology had not made things what it is now, seems to be a nice backdrop. But the real challenge is to make it into an imaginative script with some substance.
No such luck here and worse still, there seems to be a confusion regarding whether the story is to be treated in a humorous way or on serious lines. In the end, it neither entertains nor makes any sense.
With the role posing no challenges whatsoever, Dileep looks just fine as Unni Madhavan and has nothing to do other than what he has done until now. But it’s rather silly of him to mimic news anchors and the sort, which is usually done by less talented clones in numerous programmes and even in films. Gopika is wasted in a rather meek role and she often overdoes the pregnancy parts at times.
The rest of the cast has limited roles and actors like Jagathy Sreekumar, Innocent, Salim Kumar and Harisree Asokan hams it up, making things irritating to the core. The visuals are fine and the music is good, but the editor could have done a better job. Or how else do you explain the ridiculous scene involving Salim Kumar as a photographer and a newly married couple that goes on and on, without an end?
With no honesty or passion, the makers have botched a nice thread that shows promise as a one-liner. Remember films like Page 3, where the life of a journalist has been shown quite brilliantly. Some of the buffoonery in those mimicry-shows could have more substance than this languid farce
