Suresh Gopi, from Cop to postman
Suresh Gopi’s name has become synonymous with the cop uniform. The actor has played the cop to perfection in so many films. But now he will be donning the khaki colours for a different uniform.
In his upcoming Oridathoru Postman, he will be playing the title role of a postman. Suresh Gopi has always been the epitome of action on screen, but with this movie, he changes tracks completely. This comedy caper is written by K. Girish Kumar and will be directed by Shaji Azeez. Shaji made his directorial debut with Shakespeare M.A. Malayalam, which he co-directed with Shaiju Anthikkad.
The movie also stars Kunchacko Boban and Kalabhavan Mani in the lead roles. Set against a village backdrop, the movie is also marks the re-entry of Ananya into Malayalam, who made her mark with the Tamil flick Naadodigal.
